On Sept. 16, Ebby Halliday Companies held its CONNECT: EHC Summit 2024 at the Winspear Opera House in Dallas’ Arts District. The event brought together nearly 1,000 agents from Ebby Halliday Realtors, Dave Perry-Miller Real Estate and Williams Trew, including attendees from offices in Stephenville, Cedar Creek Lake and Tyler, for a day of learning, networking and expert insights.

The summit featured prominent industry speakers. Dr. Jessica Lautz, deputy chief economist at the National Association of Realtors, discussed current real estate trends and demographic shifts. Rajeev Sajja, senior vice president of digital marketing and innovation at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach Realtors, spoke on how AI is reshaping the real estate industry, encouraging agents to embrace technology to improve client relations. Jessica Edgerton, chief legal officer at Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, focused on managing legal risks and staying competitive.

A panel of top Texas agents — Craig Browning from Phyllis Browning Company in San Antonio, Gay Puckett of JBGoodwin Realtors in Austin and Jeremy Fain of Greenwood King Properties in Houston — shared strategies for success in the state’s competitive market. They also emphasized using the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World network for international referrals.

Renowned speaker Sylvie di Giusto delivered the keynote, "You Have Seven Seconds, Make Them Count," emphasizing the importance of first impressions and personal branding. She covered key areas like appearance, communication and digital presence, encouraging agents to enhance their interactions with clients.

“At Ebby Halliday Companies, we are continually raising the bar to ensure our agents have access to the best tools and the latest knowledge to thrive in what is an increasingly complex industry,” said Carolyn Rosson, president and CEO of Ebby Halliday Companies. “CONNECT EHC Summit 2024 lived up to its big promises to be an inspiring day and our agents walked away more empowered and connected than ever.”
