For the past 29 years, we've brought it all to life at our two-day festival, the Texas Music Revolution (TMR). We’re the only festival in North Texas showcasing both chart-topping and emerging Texas Country and Americana acts. This iconic festival returns for its 29th year on June 6–7, 2025, transforming Historic Downtown McKinney into a vibrant hub of music, culture, and community spirit.
A Storied Legacy
Since its inception nearly 30 years ago, TMR has evolved into a premier event, drawing thousands from across North Texas and beyond. What began as a modest gathering has flourished into a two-day celebration featuring dozens of artists and vendors across multiple stages — all nestled within the charming streets of Downtown McKinney. This growth reflects not only the festival’s commitment to authentic Texas music but also the unwavering support of a community that deeply values its cultural roots.
2025 Lineup: A Fusion of Tradition and Innovation
This year’s lineup promises a dynamic blend of seasoned performers and rising stars, ensuring a diverse musical experience for every attendee. Headlining the festival are:
- Flatland Cavalry – These West Texas natives bring heartfelt lyrics and a modern country sound to the national stage. Known for their honest storytelling and high-energy shows, Flatland Cavalry continues to define Texas Country’s new era.
- Dawes – Indie-folk rockers blending lyrical depth with melodic charm. Known for genre-blurring artistry and timeless sound, Dawes consistently delivers captivating live performances.
Additional featured artists include:
- The Wilder Blue – A Texas-based supergroup that fuses tight harmonies and roots-driven storytelling, bridging traditional country with a fresh, modern edge.
- Silverada – Known for their road-tested sound and commanding stage presence, Silverada continues to make waves in the country music scene.
- Lola Kirke – Actor-turned-singer making waves with a unique blend of indie, country, and classic influences — offering a bold, fresh take on Americana.
Also performing: Jamie Richards, John Baumann, Bri Bagwell, Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights, and many more. Each artist brings their own voice and energy to the stage, contributing to the rich mosaic of sounds that define TMR.
