Inspiration by Ashton Woods, a master-planned community located in Lucas, adjacent to the city of Wylie, will soon add 287 single-family homes to an existing development. Dallas-based Huffines Communities is the developer responsible for overseeing the construction and development of the project's infrastructure.
Less than nine miles east of US-75 in Collin County, Inspiration sits on the banks of Lake Lavon. The development, which originally broke ground in 2014, spans over 700 acres of land.
According to Ashton Woods, the community offers the charm of small-town living with easy access to the abundant dining, shopping and entertainment options of North Texas. Residents enjoy the best of both worlds, with a quick commute to nearby employment districts and recreational venues.
The community features new Ashton Woods homes situated on 50-foot and 80-foot wide single-family home sites, with one-and-two-story home designs. Currently, two designs are available: 3 bedroom and 4 bedroom. The three-bedroom, Farewell, features 2,026 square feet, with two bathrooms and one half bath. Avery, the four-bedroom, is 2,967 sq. ft. and offers fourth bathrooms and one half bath. Homes are priced from $493,000 to $590,000.
For those with families, the neighborhood will be located within Wylie Independent School District.
At the heart of the community is Club Inspiration, an upscale master amenity center overlooking Lake Lavon, featuring a resort-style pool, complete with cabanas, a lazy river, snack bar and playground. Additional amenities include an event lawn, modern fitness center, indoor and outdoor event spaces, conference rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a sand volleyball court, a putting green, a hammock park and a dog park. For outdoor enthusiasts, Inspiration also provides pedestrian access to Trinity Trail, a scenic 25.5-mile trail along Lake Lavon.
