Many denizens of downtown Plano report strange occurrences in the area’s historic buildings. Some claim they’re haunted.
Now, just in time for Halloween, the curious can experience the haunted history of downtown Plano, with the 2018 Apparition Expedition: A Stroll Through Plano’s Paranormal Past.
On a guided 1.5-mile walk through our historic downtown, daring travelers encounter the mysterious, the ghostly and the darker moments of Plano’s history. Taking off from the Interurban Railway Museum, the tour provides an exclusive peek at creepy corners, back hallways and other out-of-the-way spots downtown.
Both nights feature an after-party in McCall Plaza that is open to the public, which includes live music, psychic readers, drinks, and numerous vendors. You don’t want to miss this After Party at Old Community Well, during which the grate over the well, circa 1885, will be removed, and anything found at the bottom will be brought up.
