Attention Young Artists! Design a Pin & Tell the Story of a DART Silver Line Station

Turn your artwork into a piece of DART history
screen-shot-2025-03-10-at-102709-am

As the DART Silver Line prepares to connect 10 stations across DFW, we’re inviting students in grades 6-12 to bring each station’s story to life through art.

Your challenge: Choose one Silver Line station and design a collectible pin that represents its history, landmarks, or unique community. If your artwork is selected, it will be turned into an official Silver Line pin!

Does your station represent a historic landmark? A thriving downtown? A special memory in your neighborhood? Let your creativity shine and celebrate what makes your community unique!

Choose from one of the following 10 Silver Line Stations:

  • 12th Street Station (Plano)
  • Shiloh Road Station (Plano)
  • UT Dallas Station (Richardson)
  • CityLine/Bush Station (Richardson)
  • Downtown Carrollton Station (Carrollton)
  • Addison Station (Addison)
  • Knoll Trail Station (North Dallas)
  • Cypress Waters Station (Coppell)
  • DFW Airport North Station (Grapevine)
  • DFW Airport Terminal B (DFW Airport)

How to Enter:

  • Choose one station from the list.
  • Create a square-shaped design on 8.5” x 11” heavy paper (poster board, illustration board, etc.).
  • Keep it small but bold—your design will be resized to 1.5” x 1.5”.
  • Use crayons, markers, paint, colored pencils, or digital art.
  • Write 2-3 sentences about yourself and your design.
  • Mail or drop off your entry (no online submissions).
