Last night at BTH Bank in Plano, photography and David Downs’ fans alike came to see his displayed work.
The City of Plano Council Member, David Downs, took up photography as a hobby and after a multitude of compliments began his own business, which he considers “a hobby that’s now paying for itself.”
David Downs Photography Exhibit was presented by the ArtCentre of Plano and Plano Profile featuring his predominantly naturist photos, such as birds, outdoor scenery shots and flowers, as well as an urban skyline photo.
All of David’s prints are available in a variety of sizes and surfaces including canvas, metal, postcard and matted. His works were priced from $8.50 for a printed card up to $500 for a canvas framed print.
Guests delighted in a choice of wine or beer and light snacks while casually walking among the bank’s several rooms dedicated to the exhibit. A portion of last night’s sales went to the ArtCentre of Plano.
