The Longhorns and Sooners are heading to Dallas for the upcoming Cotton Bowl on Oct. 7, 2023. 

Each year, over 100,000 attendees flock to the State Fair of Texas to witness the Allstate Red River Showdown clash between the Texas Longhorns and the Oklahoma Sooners. This storied game has been a fixture at the Cotton Bowl Stadium since 1929 and remains an iconic highlight of the State Fair's offerings.

If you weren’t able to snag tickets to the game, here’s where to watch:

Legacy Hall 

Where: 7800 Windrose Ave., Plano, TX 75024

For those who want to get in on the action, visit Fowling Warehouse for the upcoming game. Doors will open at 10:30 a.m. and make sure to wear a jersey for an appetizer on the house!

The Revel Patio Grill

Where: 9305 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033   

The family-friendly sports bar boasts a full menu including classic American fares like burgers, sandwiches and hot wings, while also offering favorites like tacos and pasta. Revel Grill shows a handful of college and professional sports games playing all day on their giant 160" HD projection screen and 26 TVs. They also have a great patio with a full-service bar. 

Lava Cantina

Where: 5805 Grandscape Boulevard, The Colony, TX 75056

This sports bar is throwing a house-divided party, where fans from each side can watch the game on separate sides of the backyard, each with its own DJ. The post-game entertainment heats up with a DJ set by none other than Steve Aoki. Tickets can be secured through their website, with prices starting at $25 for the watch party and $50 for the after-party. 

Grandscape

Join Grandscape's Fall Fest to catch the game on a large screen. This event offers a full experience with a marketplace, a beer and wine garden, local culinary delights and even a pumpkin patch. Entry is free, and it's a family-friendly affair, so football enthusiasts of all generations can partake in the excitement!

Toyota Music Factory  

Where:316 W Las Colinas Boulevard, Irving TX 75039

It's time to paint the town orange and crimson, as we come together to celebrate the biggest showdown in college football! Toyota Music Factory boasts “big screens, bigger thrills, mouthwatering game-day grub and cold beverages.”

The Rustic 

Where: 3656 Howell Street, Dallas, Texas 75204

The Rustic starts the weekend festivities on Oct. 6 with live entertainment running from 3 p.m. until closing. Then, on Oct. 7, the excitement begins with a watch party at 11 a.m., followed by an after-party featuring music by Red Oak's talented Jade Flores and the country cover band Neon Prophets. If the game night turns into a night of fun, don't worry — join The Rustic on Oct. 8 for a Hangover Brunch starting at 10 a.m., and enjoy live music by Jes Schneider at 12:30 p.m. and Justin Tipton at 4 p.m.
