As the massive Fields West development in Frisco by Fehmi Karahan continues on the road to completion, several exciting retailers and restaurants have been announced.

These retailers and restaurants will help make the upcoming Fields West development a go-to hub for Frisco — and all of Denton and Collin Counties à la Karahan’s previous project, Legacy West. Having multiple major commercial and residential hubs in the region will help reshape North Texas.

Update 12/11/24 12 p.m. A previous version of this article stated that Fields West is in Collin County. While the East side of the development is considered Collin County, the west side of Fields is in Denton County.

What Is Fields West

Fields West, a 55-acre community in Denton and Collin Counties south of Fields Parkway and west of Dallas Parkway will feature Class A office spaces, retail outlets, entertainment venues, restaurants, recreational areas, residential units and open spaces. As Local Profile previously reported, the development along the Dallas North Tollway is projected to be valued at over $660 million.

Here’s what we know so far:

Planned Retailers

Last week, The Karahan Companies, the developer of Fields West, announced that Bloomingdale’s will open a “Bloomie’s” department store within the Fields West mixed-use retail project.

Karahan highlighted that Bloomie’s will join an impressive lineup of world-class retailers already committed to Fields West, including Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Arhaus, Alo Yoga, Kendra Scott and Sephora, among others.

Planned Restaurants

Fields West will also feature a diverse selection of dining options, such as the first DFW location of Mastro’s Steakhouse — widely regarded as a premier U.S. steakhouse — alongside local favorites like Beverley’s, Green Point, Mexican Sugar, Sixty Vines, Tommy Bahama’s Marlin Bar and more.

“We are committed to continue adding top quality retailers to Fields West as the best-in-class urban retail/restaurant/entertainment operators,” said Karahan in an official statement. “With Bloomie’s as one of our anchors, we believe we can offer the best mixed-use destination in Texas, even better than we did at Legacy West.”

Why This Is Important

With these anticipated additions, Fields will become an even more sought-after community. Named the best place to live for families in Texas and 13th nationally, Frisco’s population has grown by 500% over the past two decades, earning recognition as the fastest-growing city in Texas and third in the U.S., according to the Frisco Economic Development Corporation. The Preserve

Construction is currently underway on The Preserve, a custom home community within Fields. The development's first phase will showcase 233 homes designed by ten of North Texas’ leading luxury builders. The Perserve, spanning 267 acres, is a gated community that will offer high-end, resort-style living. Residents enjoy access to PGA golf courses, over 20 miles of hike and bike trails and access to the exclusive Brookside Club, featuring a large swimming pool, modern fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts and a playground.
