Plano ISD will host a series of events aimed at prospective employees and returning students in preparation for the upcoming school year.
The district will host the Plano ISD Job Fair on Tuesday, July 23, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at Plano ISD Academy High School at 1701 Alma Drive. This event is for candidates interested in joining Plano ISD for the 2024-25 school year. Attendees can learn more about the various openings through the Plano ISD employment page and can register by clicking here.
Following this event, the Food and Nutritional Services (FANS) Department has organized a job fair on Thursday, July 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Vines High School’s cafeteria at 1401 Highedge Drive.
Available positions include cafeteria manager, assistant manager, and specialist roles, offering benefits such as a stable work schedule, opportunities for advancement, and comprehensive benefits. Attendees are encouraged to bring their résumés and can also submit them in advance to [email protected] or through Plano ISD’s employment Page for consideration.
Lastly, the district will partner with the city of Plano to host the back-to-school fair on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The event will be held at the Plano Event Center, 2000 E Spring Creek Pkwy.
As previously reported by Local Profile, the fair aims to provide students and families with essential resources and services needed for a successful new school year. Participants will have access to various resources from district departments and community agencies. Families in need can register to receive a backpack filled with school supplies via the event registration link on the event webpage.
