In a collaborative announcement, Toyota and the National Football League (NFL) revealed their newly formed multi-year sponsorship agreement, officially naming Toyota as the NFL's official automotive partner.

This partnership is set to extend its reach beyond the stadium and into communities that share a passion for football all across the nation. According to the companies, the NFL's dedication to the expansion and prioritization of multicultural initiatives aligns directly with Toyota's commitment to diversity and inclusion, as they strive to ensure that no one is left behind in their mission to offer mobility for all.

"The NFL is the number one sports property in the U.S. with 205 million passionate fans," said David Christ, group vice president and general manager of Toyota. "This partnership provides us the opportunity to connect with fans through a wide array of NFL programs and platforms, allowing us to share our brand message and promote our vehicles to a diverse and highly engaged audience."

For avid NFL fans, Toyota's presence is already familiar. Back in the 1980s, the "Toyota Halftime Show" made its debut on ABC's Monday Night Football. Toyota continued its association with halftime sponsorship for NBC's Sunday Night Football in 2006, and this collaboration still continues to this day. Toyota's fresh alliance with the NFL will receive a boost through investments in national broadcast television and online media, strengthening its connection with football enthusiasts.

On a regional scale, Toyota presently sponsors eleven NFL teams by way of its dealer association network. The coordination of local initiatives will be spearheaded by Toyota's extensive network of over 1,200 dealers throughout the U.S. Collectively, these partnerships will serve to bring the shared objectives of Toyota and the NFL directly into the homes and communities of fans nationwide.

"For more than half a century, Toyota and the NFL have brought American families together for memorable experiences and iconic moments," Christ said. "With this partnership, and the combined resources of Toyota and the NFL, the best is yet to come."
