H-E-B Breaks Ground In Rockwall, Texas

H-E-B officially started construction on its 131,000-square-foot store in Rockwall.

The H-E-B store in Rockwall County is situated at the southwest corner of I-30 and S. John King Blvd. It features a comprehensive product selection, complemented by amenities such as a full-service H-E-B Pharmacy with a drive-thru. 

Customers can also enjoy dining at the True Texas BBQ restaurant and take advantage of H-E-B curbside and home delivery services. 

Renowned for its status as a leading national employer, H-E-B will provide employment opportunities spanning from department managers to cashier positions. Job postings for these roles will be available on the H-E-B careers site in the upcoming months.

The store boasts a variety of features, including a bakery known for its handmade artisan breads and cakes, alongside freshly made warm tortillas. The deli department impresses with a wide array of cheeses and charcuterie. The Sushiya offers daily handmade sushi and an Asian grill serving rice bowls and teriyaki dishes. H-E-B Meal Simple provides fresh, chef-inspired meals prepared in-store for convenient dining. The store also offers extensive selections in grocery and general merchandise, encompassing produce, meat market, dairy, frozen foods, baby items and seasonal products.

Under the company’s Spirit of Giving, H-E-B also recently announced a $50,000 donation to local organizations in honor of their groundbreaking ceremony. The donations included $10,000 each to the Rockwall ISD Education Foundation, Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County, Rockwall County Helping Hands, Friends of the Rockwall County Library and Rainbow Room of Rockwall County. These contributions reflect H-E-B’s ongoing support for over 150 non-profit organizations and public schools throughout North Texas.

In the Dallas-Fort Worth region, H-E-B has launched stores in Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Alliance and Mansfield. The newly opened H-E-B Mansfield debuted on June 26. Additionally, Joe V’s Smart Shop Wheatland recently opened in Dallas.
