At 6:00 A.M. H-E-B’s newest location in Allen, Texas opened its doors.

Located at 575 E. Exchange Parkway, the Allen Eagles drum line and cheerleaders welcomed guests waiting to get their first glimpse of the brand-new location.

The store will be open seven days a week from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and will feature all of H-E-B’s offerings, such as delivery, True Texas BBQ, Sushiya Sushi, pharmacy, curbside pick-up and much more.

As Local Profile previously reported, H-E-B will soon open three more stores in Melissa, Prosper and Rockwall. In July 2022, the Texas-based retail giant bought a 19.78-acre patch of land on the corner of Frontier Parkway and the Dallas North Tollway in Prosper. At the time the company did not provide details on the plans for the location, but by the size of the lot, it was evident a new supermarket was on its way to the Collin County town. Less than a week later, it was announced that the company bought land in the Southwest corner of John King Boulevard and I30.

The Melissa store will be located at the northeast corner of US 75 and Highway 121. In March 2022, the San Antonio-based retailer filed a rezoning request for Melissa City Council’s review. The spot is a 39-acre lot located next to a Buc-ee’s at the entrance of Melissa.

The opening dates and details of the three stores will be released at their respective groundbreakings in early 2024.

First time at H-E-B? Here’s what Local Profile recommends:

Everyone seems to be raving about H-E-B’s famous fresh flour tortillas, and for good reason. They are delicious! But don’t pass up on other H-E-B brands as well. If you don’t have time to wait in line for the fresh tortillas, H-E-B prepackaged tortillas are amazing as well. The brisket queso is a must-try, as well as H-E-B’s brand of ice cream, where you can get flavors such as java chip and Mexican hot chocolate.

If you don’t have time to cook, the H-E-B fresh sushi is just as good as any sit-down restaurant, and it can be eaten in the comfort of your own home or office. Speaking of quick eats, you can’t pass up H-E-B’s True Texas BBQ for all your meat cravings.
