Pop Mart, the globally acclaimed designer toy and entertainment brand, opened its first Texas store at Stonebriar Centre in Frisco on Aug. 24 with a grand opening on Aug. 31, 2024.
Pop Mart's Frisco store marked the brand's 13th physical location as it continues its rapid expansion in the U.S. The new store served as a creative hub where art and toys merged, offering visitors an immersive experience.
The store, with collections such as Disney, Pixar, SKULLPANDA, Hirono and more, welcomed guests of all ages and interests.
During the grand opening event, the store featured exclusive products, including the Peach Riot Frankie-Virtues Figurine, Peach Riot Gigi-Dark Angel Figurine and Peach Riot Poppy-Seraphim figurine. Customers also received complimentary gifts with their purchases: spend over $59 to get a MOLLY anniversary statues classical retro series album, over $99 for a KUBO Walks of Life passport protection clip and over $199 for a ZIMOMO dupont paper shoulder bag. These limited-quantity items were available on a first-come, first-served basis.
“The new store allows Pop Mart to bring our unique retail experience to Texas and create a space where fans can discover new and exciting collectibles, connect with like-minded individuals, and unleash their inner creativity,” Head of Pop Mart North America Larry Lu previously said in an official statement. “With two Houston locations in the pipeline, we are eager to continue growing our Texas presence and engage with our loyal fans and collectors across the country.”
With a dedicated global following, Pop Mart operates over 450 stores across more than 30 countries, in addition to 2,300 Robo Shops (blind box vending machines) and frequent collaborations with brands such as Uniqlo and Crocs. The Frisco store will offer fans and collectors a diverse selection of exclusive releases, limited editions and unique collaborations.
