The Dallas Cowboys and NFL Foundation joined to host the launch of new NFL Character Playbook programming. The launch will take place at AT&T Stadium on Tuesday, Nov. 7 in celebration of the League’s Salute to Service initiative.
This programming was created in partnership with the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation and the National Medal of Honor Griffin Institute.
More than 700 North Texas high school students will participate in person from Arlington. Students and members of the Los Angeles Rams, Los Angeles Chargers and Seattle Seahawks will join the celebration virtually through the NFL’s digital education initiative, Character Playbook.
Students will be welcomed by Cowboys Executive Vice President Charlotte Jones before meeting Medal of Honor recipient, Retired U.S. Army Captain Florent “Flo” Groberg and Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Dak Prescott. Their conversation will be moderated by National Medal of Honor Foundation President and CEO Chris Cassidy.
As part of this new partnership, three new video modules will be integrated into the Character Playbook. The first, Building Healthy Relationships, will focus on the Medal of Honor values of courage, commitment and integrity.
Tuesday’s launch event will conclude with a special announcement that honors the 50th Anniversary of the NFL Foundation and its mission to improve the lives of those touched by the game of football – from players at all levels to communities across the country.
During the month of November, the NFL community, comprising all 32 clubs and their players, will express their gratitude and support for those who have served and are currently serving. Salute to Service will be highlighted in games during Weeks 9-11 and throughout additional special events led by the league and its clubs.
The National Medal of Honor Museum is currently under construction in Arlington, Texas within walking distance from AT&T Stadium – the game day home of the Dallas Cowboys. The Museum is scheduled to open its doors in the Spring of 2025.
