Methodist Health System is set to open the Methodist Celina Medical Center on March 15, marking a milestone for the area’s development.
Celina’s First Full-Service Hospital
This isn’t just a hospital; it’s the hospital that Celina’s been waiting for. The new, 200,000-square-foot medical facility will be the city’s first full-service hospital, bringing essential services to the growing community. Located on a sprawling 40+ acre campus, the hospital will feature 51 beds and the ability to expand to over 100 beds as the population continues to rise.
With over 800 new residents moving to Celina each month, it’s clear that the city needs this hospital more than ever. Celina, currently home to more than 43,000 residents, is one of the fastest-growing cities in North Texas. No more long drives for quality care — it’s all coming to your neighborhood.
State-of-the-Art Services
Designed with the latest medical advancements, the hospital will house three operating rooms, including one with Da Vinci XI robotic technology for precise, minimally invasive surgeries. Plus, the hospital will feature a cardiac catheterization lab, a full emergency department and specialized care for women and children. And there’s more: the medical center’s women’s services area will have four labor and delivery rooms, plus space for a NICU down the road.
The medical center aims to cater to a variety of needs, from emergency care to long-term health management, with a focus on community wellness. Programs like health screenings and wellness education will complement its medical services, further integrating the hospital into the fabric of the city.
Celebrate With A Grand Opening
The grand opening isn’t just about ribbon-cutting and formalities. On March 5 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., the community is invited to celebrate with a family-friendly bash.
