For four decades, the town of Addison has hosted one of the nation's most remarkable Independence Day celebrations. And this year is no different.

This year, Addison Kaboom Town will, once again, hold its firework extravaganza on July 3, 2024. Renowned as one of the nation's finest the show will also be broadcast live on Star 102.1 FM and the town's social media platforms.

But before the 25-minute firework show, Addison Circle Park guests can enjoy an airshow, Texas's premier country dance ensemble, Big City Outlaws at 6:30 p.m., and the state's beloved party sensation, the Emerald City Band at 10 p.m., who will also entertain after the pyrotechnic spectacle. There will also be festival fare, refreshments and a lively fun zone for the kids.

The citywide celebration will also have watch parties spread across over 200 restaurants, 22 hotels and a limited-capacity gathering at Addison Circle Park. A list of watch parties around Addison will be available on the website closer to the event.

Despite its modest 4.4 square-mile size and population of 17,000, Addison attracts over half a million visitors every July 3 to join in the festivities of Addison Kaboom Town.

Every year, Addison Kaboom Town earns its place among the elite fireworks displays in the nation. The show, featuring a stunning array of 4,000 shells, consistently garners top honors from esteemed sources such as People.com, the American Pyrotechnics Association, Yahoo, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, and Travel + Leisure Magazine.

Tickets to the watch party in Addison Circle Park, $10 for ages 10 and older, $5 for kids 2-9 and free for kids 2 and younger, will be available at addisonkaboomtown.com on June 5. Tickets are required to attend.
