Downtown McKinney is hosting a district-wide scavenger hunt from Aug. 31 to Sept. 1, offering participants the chance to find over 100 hidden tokens throughout the historic area. These tokens can be redeemed at participating merchants for various prizes, including three special tokens that each unlock a $250 prize in Downtown Dollars.
A grand prize of $2,500 is also up for grabs, hidden within the district and accessible only through solving challenging clues and puzzles. The scavenger hunt offers an exciting opportunity to explore Downtown McKinney’s rich history and vibrant local commerce.
All prize locations are in public, easily accessible areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Prizes are hidden in pedestrian-friendly spaces, including city of McKinney Parks and other city-owned properties. While some locations may only be accessible during business hours, no clues or prizes are hidden on private property.
