Frisco-based Magellan Health, Inc., a prominent provider of behavioral health services, unveiled a new Teen Mental Wellbeing app designed for teenagers and young adults aged 13-22.

Developed in collaboration with BeMe Health, the app aims to tackle the growing mental health challenges among youth by offering real-time support through evidence-based tools and personalized coaching.

"Magellan and BeMe are uniquely positioned to support young people and alleviate the stress on parents and employers," said Caroline Carney, M.D., president of behavioral health and chief medical officer at Magellan Health, in an official statement.

The app, which leverages BeMe Health’s advanced digital platform, provides a range of features including mood-tailored content, skill-building activities and 24/7 crisis support. It also includes clinically validated screenings for conditions such as depression and anxiety, ensuring that users receive the appropriate interventions.

"Together, we will pioneer leading-edge tools that combine accessible, equitable and evidence-based interventions with scalable human connection," said Nicki Tessler, PsyD, MBA, CEO and co-founder of BeMe Health.

The app is available now to Magellan’s employer clients and aims to offer a comprehensive solution for managing mental well-being in a convenient and engaging manner.
