The event takes place on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the Ford Center at The Star, the Dallas Cowboys’ world headquarters.

Who’s Performing

This year’s show promises a star-studded lineup, with the first wave of performers including country music heavyweights Blake Shelton, Eric Church and reigning entertainer of the year Lainey Wilson. More artists are set to be announced in the coming weeks, adding to the excitement. Hosting the event is country music legend Reba McEntire, a 16-time ACM Award winner known for her charisma and deep ties to the genre.

Fans can expect unforgettable performances and collaborations that celebrate six decades of country music history. Blake Shelton will take the stage as his hit single “Texas” climbs the charts, while Eric Church will perform fresh off the release of his new album, Evangeline Vs. The Machine. As Local Profile previously reported, what started as a partnership with the Dallas Cowboys blossomed into a full-fledged country music takeover, turning Frisco into a hub of honky-tonk celebrations.

CEO of the Academy of Country Music Damon Whiteside believes Frisco is an ideal location for the ACM Awards being situated just a few miles from one of Texas' largest cities while maintaining a unique identity.

“Past performers have absolutely loved Frisco for the same reasons that we do — it’s far enough away from the big city of Dallas, but it still feels like you’re constantly in the middle of the action when ACM Awards Week rolls around,” Whiteside tells Local Profile. “It’s easy to navigate, never too far away from the excitement and everyone makes us all feel so welcome when we roll into town.”
