What To Expect

Guests will be welcomed with a glass of premium sparkling wine, followed by heavy-passed hors d'oeuvres. A four-course dinner prepared by Royal Chef Darren McGrady will be paired with four Ranch Wines, complemented by live music from a local artist. The 2025 dinner menu includes za’atar and lemon asparagus velouté with pomegranate pearls and feta, a strawberry, hearts of palm, blue cheese and candied walnut salad with Champagne emulsion, and Valentine’s sorbet. The main course features deconstructed beef wellington with madeira wine sauce, parmesan and garlic cream dauphinoise potatoes and ratatouille. For dessert, enjoy bread and butter pudding with salted caramel sauce, vanilla bean crème anglaise and berry compote.

Why You Should Go

Chef Darren McGrady was the personal chef to Princess Diana and the British Royal Family for 15 years and has also cooked for five U.S. presidents. For over a decade, he has delighted guests with exceptional menus, perfectly paired with Lone Star Winery’s “Ranch Wines” Collection at the upcoming Valentine’s event. This year, he will celebrate the final chapter of this cherished tradition at the beautiful home of winery owners Ron and Deanna Ross, before embarking on new adventures at The Triple R Ranch & Winery.

Harvest at the Masonic

215 N Kentucky St, McKinney
Reservations

What To Expect

While Harvest does not have a set Valentine’s menu, this restaurant — one of the most romantic in the city — serves up wonderful dishes every night. From top to bottom, Harvest offers a delicious menu, but some dishes truly stand out. Among our personal favorites are the sweet potato hummus, deviled eggs and pan-roasted redfish. The braised short rib, served with cauliflower and potato mash, is a standout, as is the chicken fried steak, paired with sour cream mashed potatoes and pepper pan gravy.

Why You Should Go

For years, Harvest has been a cornerstone of the McKinney dining scene, renowned for its farm-to-table cuisine and commitment to sourcing ingredients sustainably from nearby farmers — now it’s Michelin-recommended. In 2023, the farm-to-table restaurant packed up its veggies and moved from its old Louisiana Street location to a 19th-century, three-story building that used to be a Masonic lodge. Guess they figured the secret to great food was hidden in those old bricks. I think they were right.

Settle in and indulge in USDA Prime steaks, perfectly paired with craft cocktails, decadent sides and a curated wine list — all served with the authentic touch that’s made Bob’s a legend (and perfect for Valentine’s Day).

Why You Should Go

Since 1993, Bob’s Steak & Chop House has been serving up top-notch quality, tradition, and authenticity, all while making sure you’re comfortable enough to loosen that belt. Now, they’ve brought their legendary steaks and chops to the McKinney location — because why should Dallas have all the fun?
