The Mont Opening In Fort Worth, Texas, In Winter 2024

The upscale new American restaurant will feature chef-driven, seasonal dishes

The Mont, an upscale New American restaurant, is set to debut in Fort Worth this winter. Located at 3729 Saint Amand Circle, just outside the Montserrat neighborhood, the restaurant will offer a refined dining experience featuring seasonally inspired dishes crafted by acclaimed Chef Michael Duff.

Founded by Jeff Payne and Jason Cross, notable figures in the Fort Worth dining scene, the restaurant aims to deliver an elevated dining experience with seasonally inspired cuisine.

“I’ve wanted to open an upscale, chef-driven concept in the Fort Worth area for a long time and when we saw this space near the Montserrat neighborhood I knew this was the spot,” said Payne in an official statement. “It’s the perfect backdrop to have a beautiful dining experience inspired by seasonal, fresh ingredients, world travel, nostalgic favorites and our Texas roots in a timeless setting.”

Chef Michael Duff, known for his tenure at Eddie V’s Fort Worth, will lead the kitchen. Duff, alongside consulting chef Michael Arlt, will offer a menu featuring refined dishes with modern techniques and global influences. “The menu will truly be based on what produce, meat and seafood is in-season and available at that time so it will constantly be evolving,” said Duff in an official statement.

Designed by Fort Worth’s Maven Interior Design, The Mont’s 7,400-square-foot space combines 1960s glamour with modern sophistication, featuring rich mahogany, plush leather seating and ambient lighting.

The Mont will initially offer dinner service, with lunch to follow. The official website is not live as of this posting but be sure to check back for more details at www.themontfw.com.
