Rachel's Kitchen

3620 The Star Blvd #1200, Frisco
Menu

The new addition to The Star, Rachel’s Kitchen, is serving up delicious, health-conscious food. The restaurant offers a diverse selection of dishes including my personal favorite, the vegetarian sandwich with goat cheese, eggplant, zucchini, roasted red peppers, yellow squash, red onions, roasted tomatoes and chipotle mayo. And before you ask, yes, Rachel’s Kitchen does have fantastic sourdough that will put your own starter to shame.

Ascension

3625 The Star Boulevard Suite 300, Frisco
Menu

While the menu features baked goods and decadent pasties, Ascension also has a wide variety of healthy options. From the hippie bowl with ancient grains, sweet potatoes, mushrooms and kale to the veggie sammie with eggs, avocado and green, this spot at The Star offers yummy options for any meal. If you haven’t yet kicked caffeine, try the burundi nkanda slow drip coffee with notes of apple, dates and crème brûlée.
