Bringing a taste of Florida’s vibrant dining scene to Texas, restaurant Miami Vibes is set to open the doors to its first-ever location in Plano on Saturday, March 16.

Founded by Johnny and Valerie Staton, creators of Jacksonville's popular eatery Daiq Shack, Miami Vibes boasts a tropical atmosphere and a menu that embodies the vibrant flavors of Miami cuisine.

Among the highlights of the restaurant’s food offerings include starters like crab cakes and cajun deviled eggs; entrees such as oxtails and lamb chops; as well as desserts like pound cake and sweet potato pie.

Complimenting the dishes are a wide array of handcrafted cocktails and Miami-style daiquiris, among other refreshing beverages.

"Our mission at Miami Vibes Dining is to deliver an unparalleled experience — from meticulously crafted dishes using the finest ingredients to warm and attentive service. We go beyond meals, curating an inviting ambiance to create unforgettable moments,” said Valerie Staton. “Committed to offering great food, exceptional service and most importantly, great vibes, we aim to ensure every guest leaves with a smile and a desire to return.”

Serving as Miami Vibes' culinary director and executive chef is Fort Worth native, Manwell "Chef Hoppie" McLean. McLean crafted the menu, with the aim of offering dishes to North Texas patrons that blend southern comfort with caribbean flare.

"The Dallas food scene has been labeled as boring or front of the house focused with sub par food. Here at Miami Vibes, our goal is to be clicking on all cylinders, creating the perfect VIBE." said McLean.

In addition to its culinary offerings, Miami Vibes will also feature exciting daily events throughout the week, including Sunday Brunch, Wet Wednesdays and AfroBeats Thursdays, to name a few.

Miami Vibes can be found at 6505 W Park Blvd, Suite #150.
