La La Land Kind Cafe is set to open the doors to its inaugural Plano location on Saturday, Feb. 24. Located at 2301 Preston Rd, the Plano coffee shop marks the ninth La La Land Kind Cafe in the state of Texas.

Founded by Francois Reihani, a Forbes 30 Under 30 entrepreneur, the coffee shop brand is renowned for its vibrant yellow cups and commitment to empowering foster youth.

La La Land Kind Cafe offers a wide range of organic craft drinks, including coffees, matcha lattes, teas and lemonades, along with light snacks like toast and overnight oats.

The Plano cafe will be the first to feature two new La La Land original drinks upon opening: the World’s Best Vanilla Latte and the White Chocolate Latte.

On the design front, the Plano location features a luminous interior with floor-to-ceiling windows, a stunning chandelier and a spacious outdoor patio.

While La La Land Kind Cafe is known for its refreshing beverages, the brand’s mission goes beyond its menu. The company makes a concerted effort to promote happiness through its positive employees, signature happy yellow hue and its La La Land Foundation, which engages in acts of service through a diverse array of programs.

The brand also supports foster youth ages 16-24 through its La La Workforce Development Program. Established in 2017, the initiative provides young adults with life skills and job training to ensure success after they leave foster care.

In commemoration of the Plano location’s grand opening on Feb. 24 (from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.), La La Land will be giving away exclusive yellow cups and stickers in their signature La La Love Bags.

Additionally, the first 200 guests at the grand opening event will receive a complimentary La La Land mug.

Following its grand opening, regular hours for the cafe will operate from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily beginning on March 2.
