Kenny's Burger Joint, famous for its unique food challenges, is launching its latest culinary contest: Kenny's rib-eating challenge. Starting next Tuesday, July 16, barbecue lovers can attempt to earn a spot on the wall of champions by eating 30 smoked ribs in 30 minutes.

Participants who accomplish this feat can secure their position on the leaderboard by continuing to eat as many ribs as possible within the allotted time. Those who succeed in finishing the initial 30 ribs in 30 minutes will earn a $100 gift card, a commemorative T-shirt, and a coveted spot on the leaderboard. However, if they fail, they will be charged $75.

The rib-eating challenge will be available at Kenny's Burger Joint's Plano and Frisco locations. Reservations must be made at least seven days in advance, and the challenge can be scheduled for any day of the week.

This new challenge joins the ranks of other popular eating contests at Kenny's Burger Joint, such as the el jefe grande, a seven-pound, 7,000-calorie burger, and Kenny's East Coast pizza's bada bing challenge, where two diners attempt to consume a 36-inch pepperoni pizza in under one hour.

Founded by chef Kenny Bowers and restaurateur Bob Stegall, Kenny's Burger Joint is a staple in the community since 2009, welcoming over 4.2 million guests. Known for its world-class burgers cooked on a wood-fired grill, the restaurant features a diverse menu of sandwiches, salads, and sides made with top-quality ingredients. The relaxed, full-service environment includes a full bar and a commitment to delicious, simple meals.
