Located in the heart of Downtown Dallas, The Adolphus proudly revives one of the city’s most treasured holiday traditions, Holiday Tea, for the 2024-2025 season. Reservations open in October, for daily seatings starting Nov. 5, 2024, with availability continuing through Jan. 5, 2025.

Each year, this historic hotel becomes a festive sanctuary for both locals and visitors, featuring intricate decorations, seasonal music and creative menus that set the stage for memorable experiences.

Holiday Tea is hosted in the exquisite and historic French Room, celebrated for its traditional European afternoon tea service. The space features marble floors, gilded Louis XVI-style chairs reupholstered in luxurious fabrics, ornate sconces and charming twin Italian Murano glass chandeliers in pastel hues. For the holiday season, the room will be transformed with Balsam fir trees decorated with warm twinkle lights, gold ribbons and shimmering glass ornaments.

Starting at $80 per person, the three-course menu features a selection of savory tea sandwiches, seasonally flavored scones served with house-made preserves and English double cream and an array of delectable pastries. Guests can also enjoy a glass of champagne or French sparkling cider.

The loose-leaf teas, specially blended by local purveyor Zakti for the hotel, complement the offerings. For an additional treat, guests can opt for the newly introduced caviar service, which includes Petrossian caviar paired with house-made buckwheat blini and an assortment of luxurious accompaniments, enhancing the holiday tea experience.

Beyond its holiday tea service, The Adolphus transforms into a premier festive destination, featuring the city’s largest live Christmas tree in its lobby. Guests can enjoy a variety of seasonal experiences, including themed cocktails, unique shopping opportunities and the popular Winter Village pop-up on the 7th-floor pool deck. Adjacent to the dining room, The French Room Bar offers a perfect spot for post-tea cocktails, snacks and additional delights.

Reservations open on Oct. 1 and are available to book via Resy or by calling The French Room directly at 214-651-3615.
