The National Mango Board invites all mango enthusiasts to save the dates for Aug. 24 and 25. The Joy Ride mobile mango truck is bringing the tropical flavors of mangoes to Frisco for an epic weekend you won't want to miss.
Coming to Frisco for one weekend only, this is your chance to discover the versatility and incredible taste of fresh mangos and learn all about the nutritional benefits of this tropical superfruit.
Immerse yourself in a world of deliciousness with free mango treats featuring a variety of toppings, fun photo opportunities to capture all the mango vibes, interactive games to test your mango knowledge and exciting giveaways that will leave you craving more mango.
"We are thrilled to bring Joy Ride to life and share the incredible taste and versatility of fresh mangos with consumers in a new and exciting way," National Mango Board Director of Marketing Dan Spellman said in an official statement. "By visiting consumers in these markets, we're creating unforgettable, fun experiences while educating participants on the nutritional benefits of mangos and inspire people to get creative with mango recipes."
Guests can get creative with mango tips and tricks from on-site chefs and interact with the National Mango Board and chat about all things mango.
The mango food truck kicks off in Frisco on Aug. 24 at Kroger and Aug. 25 at Frisco Roughriders' minor league baseball team stadium. In the meantime, check out the National Mango Board’s enhanced new website at Mango.org and get ready to celebrate peak mango season in style.

Following Frisco, the truck will make its way to Florida, with stops at the Tallahassee Publix on Sept. 1 and Florida State University for the Florida State vs. Boston College football game on Sept. 2. Florida momentum continues with a stop at the Pensacola Publix on Sept. 4. The mango food truck wraps up in Oxford with an on-campus event at Ole Miss on Sept. 6, followed by an Ole Miss vs. Middle Tennessee Game Day experience on Sept. 7.
