First Look: CosMc's, McDonald's New Restaurant

Don't expect burgers and fries

The second CosMc's in the world just opened in Dallas, Texas, off Preston and Campbell roads. The new style of restaurant is different from your typical McDonald's, focusing on drinks.

Plus, there are no seats in the CosMc's, everything is touch-screen order and to go. Of course, you can also order via the drive-thru.

Menu-wise, CosMc's is drink heavy, including Galactic Boost energy drinks, which, depending on the drink, can come with a caffeine syrup or even a pre-workout shot. (You can remove these ingredients, if you like!) We ordered the Sour Cherry Energy Burst, sans caffeine, but did keep the "fruity popping boba."

CosMc's also serves up fruit-inclusion iced teas and lemonades as well as an array of slushies, frappés, and hot and cold brews. Yes, you can order a fountain Coke, because McDonald's fountain Cokes are perfection.

The food is more snack-ish, with pretzel or hash-brown bites, McPops, cookies and soft serve. There are also different sandwiches, such as the spicy queso sandwich or breakfast favorite the Egg McMuffin. The lack of burgers and fries is noticeable! But, I guess, that's the point? Yes, yes it is.
