Prosper, Texas, will host its annual Celebrate Prosper event on Oct. 5, 2024, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Frontier Park. This free community celebration promises a day filled with live music, entertainment and family-friendly activities.
The event features a range of attractions, including face painting, balloon artists, shaved ice and a diverse selection of food vendors. A highlight of the evening will be the performance by Josh Weathers, a Fort Worth-based singer-songwriter known for his energetic rock and soul performances. Weathers will take the stage at 6:30 p.m., bringing his powerful live show and viral hit of Dolly Parton’s “I Will Always Love You” to a local audience.
Frontier Park will be alive with activities for all ages, including a kid zone with inflatables and a new resident mixer tent from 4 to 5:30 p.m. for newcomers to Prosper. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for open lawn seating to enjoy the festivities.
The event is supported by key sponsors, including CoServ, Cook Children's Health Network and H-E-B, who have made it possible for Celebrate Prosper to remain a free community event.
