The town of Prosper is commemorating the fifth anniversary of the 407 Rec Center with a community event on Aug. 8, 2024. Held at the center and adjacent Boyer Park, the celebration will feature live music, snow cones, lawn games, balloon artists and a bounce house.
The 407 Rec Center, which opened on Aug. 8, 2019, was the first facility in Prosper dedicated exclusively to parks and recreation programming. Since its inception, the center has been integral in hosting active adult gatherings, as well as year-round youth and adult camps and classes.
For attendees, parking will be available on the street near Boyer Park, at the Prosper Parks & Recreation Administrative offices located at 409 E. First St., and across the street at the PISD Family Resource Building at 410 E. First St.
The event is open to the public. For more information, contact Parks & Recreation at 972-569-1160 or email [email protected].
