What To Expect
Starting Dec. 4, the festivities kick off with Christmas on the Square, a beloved holiday event that will light up the town with community spirit, live performances, shopping and delicious treats.
This annual celebration is perfect for families looking to experience the joy of the season in a small-town atmosphere. The tree lighting ceremony at 8 p.m. will be the highlight of the evening, followed by activities for all ages. In addition to Christmas on the Square, Celina’s holiday schedule is packed with a variety of fun events.
- Coffee with a Cop – Enjoy a warm drink and chat with local officers (Dec. 7).
- Reinsteer on the Square – A unique twist on the traditional reindeer experience (Dec. 7).
- Christmas Craft Cocktails & Tastes of the Season – A special cocktail-tasting event at Two29 (Dec. 9).
- Photos with Santa – Capture magical moments with St. Nick (Dec. 14 & 21).
- National Ugly Sweater Day – Wear your ugliest Christmas sweater and shop downtown for discounts (Dec. 20).
- Letters to Santa – The program offers a chance to mail a wish list directly to the North Pole. Santa's letterbox will be available at the Celina Public Library (Dec. 1 - Dec. 15).
