Great News, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue Will Be In Plano Longer

The world premiere of Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, Minecraft’s first-ever real-life, immersive quest, debuted in October in Plano. The experience was supposed to end on Jan. 5, 2025. But now, fans eager to step "inside" the game will have more chances to do so.

The experience will now continue until Jan. 20, 2025. 

Why You Should Go

At Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue, attendees embark on a one-hour adventure through a 20,000-square-foot space, exploring biomes, building structures and interacting with iconic mobs. Using advanced projectors and speakers, the exhibit immerses guests in the sights and sounds of Minecraft. 

Each participant also uses an Orb of Interaction with haptic feedback and lighting to engage with the environment. The experience ends at the Trading Post, where guests can pick up mementos and merchandise and receive a special code for a unique in-game cape. No Minecraft knowledge is required — players of all levels will enjoy this adventure.

Hours and Tickets

The experience will feature extended hours during the Christmas and New Year’s school holiday period. For the full holiday schedule and to purchase tickets, visit the Minecraft Experience website or the Fever ticketing website. 

Ticket prices vary based on the time of purchase, with general admission priced at $32. For those looking to bring a group, the friends and family pack, which includes 4-15 tickets, is available at $28 per person. Larger groups of 16 or more tickets can take advantage of the group rate at $25 per person, though these tickets sell out quickly. 

Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is located at 2712 N Central Expressway in Plano, just North of I-635 adjacent to DART’s Parker Road station. Hours and special experiences vary depending on booking.
