The events, which are free to attend, will take place on Sept. 28 in Irving and Oct. 5 in Melissa, welcoming the community to celebrate the arrival of fall with games, live music and food.
Beginning the day of the festival and throughout the month of October, for $25, guests can participate in the popular "all-you-can-carry" pumpkin promotion, where they can take home as many pumpkins as they can physically carry!
Attendees can also enjoy a range of activities, including pumpkin bowling, succulent-building sessions and a petting zoo. The festival also offers kids' activities such as face painting, pumpkin painting and a costume contest.
In addition to the fun, festivalgoers will have the chance to enjoy hot dogs, popcorn, snow cones and free raffles throughout the day. Live music performances will provide entertainment, while a fall gardening talk will offer seasonal tips for preparing gardens for the cooler months.
