Plano Prince of Peace Catholic Community Celebrates 25th Anniversary

In 1991, Prince of Peace Catholic Community in Plano was established by Bishop Charles V. Grahmann and Father R. James Balint with approximately 400 families in attendance.

In 1991, Prince of Peace Catholic Community in Plano was established by Bishop Charles V. Grahmann and Father R. James Balint with approximately 400 families in attendance.

Today, they have 2,715 families and 8,515 members who call this beloved Parish their home. Many pastors and deacons have served their community over the years, including current pastors are Father Jim, Father Tom and Father Dominic. Including five weekend Mass celebrations, there are over 100 adult ministries, small group gatherings, youth and young adult events and catechists programs that form this dynamic and fruitful community!

On February 7, 2016, Prince of Peace will commemorate 25 years at its 11:15 a.m. Mass. Their address is 5011 West Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75093. Bishop Kevin Farrell will preside and the Knights of Columbus are hosting a reception in the church’s Cana Center immediately following.
