Chicken N Pickle is set to open its third Dallas-Fort Worth location in Allen on May 13. Located at 1221 Johnson Road, the four-acre indoor-outdoor complex features six indoor and two outdoor pickleball courts, a chef-driven restaurant, bar, beer garden and backyard-style games like cornhole, battleship and giant Jenga.

The grand opening celebration will last all week, from May 13 to May 18, with themed events, open-play pickleball and giveaways. Chicken N Pickle Allen is part of The Farm, a mixed-use development at the southeast corner of Sam Rayburn Tollway and Alma Drive.

Food Meets Paddle

Chicken N Pickle’s menu focuses on responsibly raised, antibiotic- and hormone-free chicken with rotisserie options, smoked wings and seasonal dishes. Drinks include elevated cocktails and local beer, all served in a casual setting.

Backed by NFL stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, the brand has become one of the fastest-growing pickleball venues in the country. The Allen location is the twelfth nationwide and the fifth in Texas, joining others in Grapevine, Grand Prairie, San Antonio and Webster.

Pickleball for All

The complex is designed to be inclusive. It features “pickleball for ALL” programming, including access to sports wheelchairs and adaptive equipment for players of all abilities.

“We like to think of our concept as the ultimate backyard hangout,” said CEO Brad Clarke in an official statement. “It’s a space where everyone can connect and celebrate with great food, drinks and unforgettable moments together.”

Invested in Allen

Each Chicken N Pickle employs a full-time community impact coordinator to support local causes. The company has given more than $5 million to nonprofit organizations and supported nearly 9,000 charities in 2024 alone.

“We’re thrilled to be part of the Allen community,” said Kelli Alldredge, president of Chicken N Pickle, in the statement. “By investing in both our people and the places we serve, we’re building a future where success is shared.”

The new venue is expected to create more than 160 jobs. To apply or learn more, visit chickennpickle.com.
