On Sept. 28, 2024, Sky Elements Drone Shows, in collaboration with the city of Mansfield, will attempt to set a new Guinness World Record for the most remote-operated multirotor drones launching fireworks simultaneously.

The current record is held by a company in South Korea, but Sky Elements is determined to break it. A Guinness World Records adjudicator will be present to officially verify the attempt. In order to break the record, Sky Elements and the city of Mansfield will need to present over 7,598 drones.

The event will take place at 9 p.m. promptly. Attendees are advised to arrive by 8:30 p.m. for the best viewing experience. The drone and fireworks display will be visible from the surrounding areas of Mansfield Sports Park.

This exclusive event will blend the artistry of choreographed drones with pyrotechnics, all synchronized to music broadcast on 88.9 FM, offering a more immersive experience for viewers. The drone show will produce minimal noise, mostly a soft buzzing sound, and the display has been carefully designed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for pets and veterans.

The drones will fly within a restricted area, with security personnel on-site to maintain a safe environment for the public. Mansfield police will assist with traffic management, and attendees are reminded to follow traffic rules by refraining from parking or stopping on streets near the event. Please note that no restrooms will be available at the viewing locations, so plan accordingly.

For safety reasons, the public is asked to refrain from entering the Sports Park and to avoid parking or stopping on nearby streets. Admission is free, and attendees are encouraged to follow Sky Elements on social media and share their experiences.

Earlier this week, Sky Elements secured third place in Season 19 of America's Got Talent based on fan voting. Founded in late 2020, Sky Elements has rapidly grown into the largest drone show company in the U.S. and ranks among the biggest in the world.

Sky Elements is no stranger to breaking Guinness World Records. Over the July Fourth weekend in 2023, the company set a record for producing the most drone shows in a single weekend. In 2024, they shattered another world record by deploying 2,400 drones at Petco Park in San Diego for a Deadpool and Wolverine-themed show at San Diego Comic-Con. This performance surpassed Disneyland Paris’ previous record for the "Largest aerial display of a fictional character formed by multirotors/drones."
