Crestron Electronics, a global leader and innovator in building and home automation technology expands to a new phase at the Legacy Tower off the Dallas North Tollway in Plano.
The new building space is the company’s second largest campus behind its New Jersey headquarters, and is soon-to-be the place of work to hundreds of talented individuals in R&D, customer support, engineering, manufacturing and IT support. Construction is projected to be complete this July, allowing Crestron to move in the same month.
“Expanding within the Texas market is logical for our business,” Steve Rosa, vice president of human resources, said in a statement. “We are utilizing Plano’s reputation for having both excellent technical resources and being consistently rated one of the best places to work.”
The tech company has developed over the last 40 years to more than 90 locations in more than 35 countries, but “still feels to me like that small company that cares,” said Rosa. Crestron’s employees and customers, both homeowners and global businesses, are a top priority. This new addition will help serve the growing demand of solutions made available through one easy-to-navigate platform controlling many functions such as, A/V, music, lighting, shading, climate and security.
