Fortress Solutions, a worldwide leader in solutions for the management and support of critical infrastructure in the telecommunications industry, private wireless networks and communication requirements, recently named Scott Bowman as its Chief Revenue Officer.
“Scott is an extremely strong and experienced leader,” said CEO of Fortress John Shelnutt. “We are ecstatic to welcome Scott with open arms. The in-depth knowledge Scott brings to our team will enhance the growth experience for both Fortress and our customers.”
According to a statement by Fortress Solutions, Bowman is a seasoned sales executive and general manager with a wealth of experience in the Information Technology sector. Bowman's experience includes senior executive roles at prominent companies such as IBM, Hitachi Data Systems, Unisys Corporation, and, most recently, he oversaw all North American sales, including various routes-to-market, for Sungard Availability Services.
In line with Fortress Solutions' ongoing growth strategy, which involves expanding into service provider, private wireless and industry 4.0 markets, Bowman's expertise will play a pivotal role in advancing Fortress's evolution into a software and services company. This transformation will occur while preserving its established position as a leader in third-party repair services.
“I am thrilled to be joining the Fortress family and am looking forward to engaging not only with the dedicated Fortress team but our loyal customers around the globe,” Bowman said. “It is an exciting time to be a part of the leadership team as we guide Fortress through this period of significant industry change.”
