Former Dallas Cowboys star Troy Aikman is partnering with VENU, a hospitality and entertainment company, to help launch the upcoming $220 million Sunset Amphitheater in McKinney.
Aikman’s Eight Elite Light Lager will be the official partner for four planned Outdoor Sunset Amphitheaters in Texas and Oklahoma, including Sunset Amphitheater in McKinney.
What To Expect: An Elevated Experience
The Aikman Club is a high-end luxury suite within a state-of-the-art, 20,000-capacity outdoor amphitheater. VENU is offering 350 exclusive memberships, each granting members two tickets to every ticketed event at the Sunset at McKinney Amphitheater.
There are also amenities such as a private upscale buffet and fire pits to elevate the experience.
“Imagine having the best seat in the house to every show, every time,” Aikman said on VENU’s website.

How To Become A Member
- One-Time Fee: $150,000
- $75,000 deposit secures membership; the remaining balance is due 120 days before the first public event.

Sunset Amphitheater Plans
The approved site plan — spanning 46 acres — features more than 5,100 parking spaces. These spaces are accommodated within two multi-level parking structures, each standing two to three stories tall and covering a combined area of over 1.6 million square feet. The plan also features 20,000 seats and a 33-foot-tall sound attenuation wall on the structure's east side, with the building reaching a maximum height of 138 feet.
The project will feature more than 250 deluxe fire pit suites, along with traditionally reserved seating in the mid and lower bowl sections, a landscaped grass berm and the exclusive Aikman Club. The Sunset Amphitheater is expected to open in 2026.
