The votes are in: Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa was officially named one of the best hotels in the world — and the accolade comes from one of the most trusted names in travel.
The Frisco-based destination landed a coveted spot on Travel + Leisure’s 2025 T+L 500 list, compiled from reader surveys, which highlights top properties around the globe known for exceptional service, standout amenities and consistently memorable stays.
A Global Favorite

The recognition, announced April 18, follows the resort’s previous honor as the No. 1 Texas Resort Hotel in the magazine’s 2024 World’s Best Awards. “We’re proud to now be recognized on a global level,” said Jeff Smith, vice president and managing director of Omni PGA Frisco, in an official statement. “This acknowledgment affirms our team’s commitment to creating truly memorable guest experiences.”
Since opening in May 2023, Omni PGA Frisco has made waves with:
- Two championship golf courses, including Fields Ranch East, designed by renowned architect Gil Hanse
- A 10-hole short course and two-acre putting green
- 13 dining concepts spanning upscale Texas fare to international cuisine
- A full-service Mokara Spa
- 500 rooms and suites, plus 10 luxe modern ranch houses
- And 127,000 square feet of event space

Next Up: SAVOR
What better way to follow global recognition than with a four-day celebration of food, wine, music and Texas-sized hospitality?
From May 1–4, Omni PGA Frisco will host the inaugural SAVOR festival — a new signature event designed to bring together James Beard Award-winning chefs, Hollywood legends, country music stars and a few hundred lucky ticket holders.
The lineup includes:
- A celebrity-studded golf tournament featuring Kurt Russell, Michael Strahan, Rob Riggle and more
- Tastings and dinners led by chefs like John Tesar, Dean Fearing, Joe Riojas, Kwame Onwuachi and Aarón Sánchez
- Live music from the band Midland and other performers
- Pop-up shops from Stetson and Lucchese
- And a margarita-fueled mariachi brunch to close it all out

“It was always our intention to have signature events,” Smith said during a media preview. “This is really the first premier signature event that focuses heavily on food, drink, golf and music.” Expect elevated menus, limited capacity and zero long lines — think more Hamptons hideaway than shoulder-to-shoulder festival crowd.
Giving Back While Raising The Bar
While the weekend promises luxury, exclusivity and a touch of Texas flair, it also supports a good cause. A portion of the proceeds from SAVOR will benefit the North Texas Food Bank, which provided more than 106 million meals last year across 13 counties.
Tickets are limited, and judging by the buzz, they won’t last long. For the full lineup and ticket options, visit savoromnipgafrisco.com.
