The 27th season of Screams Halloween Theme Park is upon us. Screams 2023 kicks off this Friday, Sept. 29, and will be open every Friday and Saturday night until Saturday, Oct. 28. If you're searching for the ultimate Halloween experience in North Texas, look no further.

This year, Screams Halloween Theme Park will offer a thrilling lineup, including five Haunted Houses. Explore walk-through attractions, enjoy exciting live stage entertainment, unleash your inner star with Scary-Oke, shop for spooky merchandise, savor delicious food, grab a drink at the pubs and test your skills with a variety of games.

Screams 2023 promises visitors an array of fresh frights, with revamped haunted houses featuring terrifying characters and spine-tingling sights and sounds. There are new locations for fan favorites such as the Times Up Maze, the Zombie Wasteland Apocalypse, the Cool Ghoul Boolevard and the Spider’s Web Pub. Additionally, for those craving non-stop Halloween thrills, Screams is introducing a season pass that grants access every night throughout the 2023 season.

"Screams is sure to find what makes you scream with the different experiences offered at each of the 5 haunted houses: witches and evil spells throughout a medieval castle; a post-apocalyptic world of zombies and the undead; a maze where you’re time may be at its end; depraved family members from the depths of the bayou who don’t want you to leave; and clowns in horrifying 3-D," a statement from Screams said. "It’s a night filled with frights of all kind."

In addition to the spine-chilling attractions, Screams offers a variety of other experiences. Guests can indulge in palm readings, get adorned with henna tattoos and explore shops brimming with handcrafted chocolates, collectibles inspired by horror, sci-fi and cult movies, unique jewelry, tarot cards, resin and ceramic art, creepy crochet plushies and much more.

Ticket prices at the gate (valid on event nights only) start at $45, and fast passes are available starting at $33, with prices varying for Friday and Saturday nights. Tickets grant access to the park and all five haunted houses, as well as attractions like the Rottingwood Cemetery, Cool Ghoul Boolevard, stage entertainment, and Scary-Oke. To reduce wait times for the haunted houses by half, a limited number of Fast Passes are available each night. Please note that Fast Passes are not admission tickets; food, beverages, games, and merchandise from the shops must be purchased separately.

Discount tickets are available online at www.ScreamsPark.com and discount coupons are available at Legacy Chevrolet/GMC in Waxahachie. A limited number of the all-new season passes that provide admission into every night of Screams 2023 are available only at www.ScreamsPark.com for a cost of $165 plus tax & fees. The season pass does not include a fast pass. Parking at Screams is free compliments of Legacy Chevrolet/GMC - Waxahachie.

While credit cards are widely accepted throughout the park, please note that certain locations, including games, operate on a cash-only basis. Visitors are advised to bring enough cash, but there are also four ATMs conveniently available should they require them.

Screams is designed for ages 16 and up and is not recommended for small children. Costumes, face paint and decorative masks are permitted.

The park is located at 2511 FM 66, Waxahachie, TX 75167.
