Daytime Adventures for the Family

Need an idea for your next family outing? Plan an adventure to the Perot Museum of Nature and Science! Everything from dinosaurs to DNA and diamonds are packed into five levels of hands-on discovery to inspire the lifelong learner in each of us. Race a T. rex, challenge friends in robot competitions, explore the astonishing links between dinosaurs and modern-day birds, experience a simulated earthquake, journey through the universe, and test what it means to “be human.”

See below for exhibit highlights you don’t want to miss!

  • T. Boone Pickens Life Then and Now Hall — Gaze at towering dinosaurs, including the 25-foot tall Alamosaurus, get real-time views of dinosaur research by paleontologists and preparators, and unravel a paleo mystery through an augmented reality experience.

chance to explore the latest research and discoveries about tyrannosaurs, and get a detailed view of
