Pint-Sized Parade
The Pint-Sized Parade is a must-see for families at the State Fair of Texas! What’s Returning
Dinosaurs at the Lagoon
Step back into the prehistoric era at this year’s Dinosaurs at the Lagoon at the State Fair of Texas. This brand-new exhibit features ten life-sized dinosaurs native to Texas, a kids’ play area and ample seating and dining options. Combining Fair fun with bilingual educational entertainment, Dinosaurs at the Lagoon offers something for the whole family. Don’t miss the chance to snap a photo with a towering 57-foot-tall Alamosaurus.
Innovations in Agriculture
Highlighting the State Fair’s Big Tex Urban Farms indoor growing facility, the Innovations in Agriculture exhibit features inventive methods for cultivating high-yield, healthy produce indoors. The exhibit also includes DIY growing systems you can create at home and demonstrates their use in the Fair’s Big Tex Urban Farms initiative.
Starlight Parade
Showcasing dazzling new floats, the Kroger Starlight Parade will illuminate the Fair Park skyline like never before this year. Designed by Kern Studios of New Orleans, this nightly parade travels through the fairgrounds for all 24 nights of the Fair. Experience a vibrant display of floats, life-size puppets, animated characters in elaborate costumes and more.
Mattress Firm Illumination Sensation
Mattress Firm’s Illumination Sensation is back for its 25th year on the historic Esplanade, featuring all-new songs and elements! Set by a picturesque reflecting pool, this spectacular show blends fireworks and high-energy pop music with captivating performances from dancers and acrobats. Experience the thrill of synchronized pyrotechnics and special effects, starting nightly at 8 p.m.
Creative Arts Cooking Demonstrations in the Cutco Kitchen
Step into the spotlight at the Creative Arts Cooking Demonstrations in the Cutco Kitchen, where the new resident chef performs live daily at the State Fair of Texas.
