Pride Frisco recently announced the music headliner, keynote speaker and featured entertainers for the third annual Pride Festival, taking place at Toyota Stadium on Oct. 6, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. in Frisco, Texas.

Headliners for the event include Raymond Salgado, a Filipino-Canadian who was a contestant on American Idol and a finalist on Canada’s Got Talent season two, and Nico Lang, a nonbinary award-winning journalist with work featured in Rolling Stone, The New York Times, The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times. Nico's latest book, American Teenager: How Trans Kids are Surviving Hate and Finding Joy in a Turbulent Era, is available for preorder and can be signed and picked up at the festival.

Other featured entertainers set for the event will include Uptown Players, Masala Nights Bollywood Dancers, Oak Lawn Band, Dallas Wings Flight Crew dance group and Fit with Daniel.

The festival will offer music, art, food, vendors and interactive activities for all ages. Local sports teams like FC Dallas, Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Wings will also be present. Organizations such as the ACLU, Lambda Legal and the Human Rights Campaign will be on site to offer support and resources for attendees.

“LGBTQIA+ people, especially trans and nonbinary Texans, are united in joy, affirmed in our existence, and celebrated in safe spaces like our pride festival, which annually gathers thousands from across Texas and beyond,” said Jon Culpepper, Pride Frisco co-founder, in an official statement.

The event is open to all ages. Entry, parking and eligibility for giveaways are free with registration. All guests will need to go through security screening, which includes bag checks and metal detectors.
