For over 40 years, holiday celebrations at Galleria Dallas have brought joy to families across North Texas. Every Thanksgiving weekend, thousands gather to experience this annual tradition, transforming the Galleria into a winter wonderland. And that’s just the beginning of the holiday cheer!

Santaland

When: Nov. 22 - Dec. 24
Tickets

Guests are invited to enjoy a magical journey on the Santaland Express, beginning with a simulated train ride to the North Pole. They’ll then follow an enchanted path through a moonlit forest, sparkling with starry lights, polar bears and special photo opportunities, leading to Santa’s majestic chalet. Here, Santa awaits, already knowing each child's name and holiday wishes — because, of course, he’s Santa! Travelers can make the experience complete by purchasing a combo ticket to explore SNOWDAY, the other side of the North Pole. 

SNOWDAY

When: Nov. 22 - Jan. 5

SNOWDAY offers guests an immersive adventure through countless imaginative rooms, packed with surprises for all ages, spanning about an hour. Designed as a fully interactive and unforgettable experience, SNOWDAY presents unique photo opportunities where visitors can have fun and capture memories — including six extra-special photo moments featuring integrated cameras and professional lighting for the perfect shot.

Operation Kindness Pet Adoption

When: Nov. 29 - Dec. 24 | Wednesday-Saturday, Sunday

Make your holiday season even better by bringing home a furry friend. Visit to meet adoptable dogs and cats from Operation Kindness.

Grand Tree Lighting Celebration

When: Nov. 29 & 30 | 12 p.m. 

Festivities kick off at noon with the highly anticipated Grand Tree Lighting Celebration. This year’s show promises to dazzle audiences with performances by several Olympians. The tree, enhanced with cutting-edge LED lighting by Twinkly, provides brilliant, animated and immersive light shows, adding an extra layer of magic. It takes center stage during two public ice-skating shows scheduled for Nov. 29 and Nov. 30. The celebration culminates in a dazzling finale as the tree is lit by Missile Toes, Galleria’s iconic ice-skating, back-flipping, pyrotechnic Santa. 

Santa Paws

When: Nov. 27 - Dec. 18 | Wednesdays

Want a photo of your fur baby with Santa? This year, you can make it happen at Galleria Dallas! Bring your furry friend (under 100 lbs) to this special event for a memorable holiday photo.

Black Friday

When: Nov. 29 | 9 a.m. - 9 p.m.

Galleria Dallas’ Black Friday event, which also falls on Nov. 29, will draw holiday shoppers with abundant sales and promotions from its over 200 shops and restaurants.

Grand Holiday Ice Show

When: Dec. 8 | 9 a.m.

Galleria Dallas is offering guests the opportunity to experience the Grand Holiday Ice Show outside regular shopping hours, ensuring a more intimate and crowd-free celebration. The show brings together a lineup of internationally acclaimed figure skaters and talented youth skaters from the Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center. Alongside stunning performances, the event features the iconic Missile Toes — Galleria’s back-flipping, pyrotechnic Santa — lighting up the towering Christmas tree.  

The Galleria will partner with Broadway Dallas to present an exclusive show featuring 2022 National Champion and Olympian Mariah Bell, former U.S. National Champion Ryan Bradley and two-time U.S. National bronze medalists Kim Navarro and Brent Bommentre. This special event offers performances by some of the nation’s top figure skaters. The Grand Holiday Ice Show also includes holiday-themed activities such as balloon artists, face painting and a cozy coffee and hot chocolate station.

Santa Cares

When: Dec. 15 | 8 - 11 a.m.

Families of children with special needs are invited to a private photo session with Santa in a setting tailored to support sensory, physical and other developmental needs.

Spanish-Speaking Santa

When: Dec. 5-19 | Thursdays 
Tickets 

Spanish-speaking families are welcome to enjoy Santaland with no language barriers.
