Plano Turkey Trot 2024

Where: Red Trail Pavilion | 2801 E Spring Creek Pkwy, Plano
When: Nov. 28 | 8:45 a.m. 
Cost: $60 for adults and $24.99 for kids 11 and under; free kids 100M dash for ages 8 and under 

Sign up for Thanksgiving morning’s annual Plano Turkey Trot 5K. Enjoy fresh swag and treat yourself to Hypnotic Donuts at the finish line. This race supports The Source of Hope, an organization committed to offering hope, wellness and education to those in need.

Scheels North Texas Turkey Trot 2024

Where: Downtown Frisco 
When: Nov. 28 | 7:55 a.m. 
Cost: $25 for the Miracle Mile, $40 for the 5K and $45 for the 10K

Gather on Thanksgiving Day in downtown Frisco, for a fun family event. Whether you're running the 5K, 10K or Miracle Mile, it's the perfect way to burn some calories before the holiday feast. All proceeds benefit the Miracle League of Frisco. 

Celina Turkey Trot

Where: 127 N. Ohio Street
When: Nov. 28 | 8 a.m.
Cost: $45 for 5K and $30 for a 1-mile fun run

Sign up for Celina’s Thanksgiving Day celebration of community with music, running and awards for the whole family. Dress in your favorite Thanksgiving-themed costume and make lasting memories! A 5K and 1-mile family fun run/walk will kick off your day of tradition. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Lovepacs, an organization dedicated to feeding children in need through community-driven efforts. 

Irving Turkey Trot

Where: Toyota Music Factory | 316 W. Las Colinas Blvd. 
When: Nov. 28 | 7 a.m.
Cost: $59.99 for 5K and $79.99 for 8-mile

Sign up for scenic routes through Irving’s Las Colinas Urban Center and along Lake Carolyn, then celebrate at the post-race party at Toyota Music Factory. Runners, joggers and walkers can choose between the 5K or 8-mile courses, with water stations and community volunteers offering hydration along the way.

Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot

Where: 601 N Akard St, Dallas
When: Nov. 28 | 8: 30 a.m.
Cost: $44 for untimed, $49 for timed

The Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot is the largest Thanksgiving Day event of its kind in the country. Starting from humble beginnings in 1967 at White Rock Lake, it has grown into the undisputed "Dallas' Way to Start Thanksgiving Day."
