New Year's Eve with The Maylee Thomas Band

When: Dec. 31 | 8:30 p.m.

Why You Should Go

The Guitar Sanctuary is dedicated to all things guitar. In addition to selling and repairing guitars, they also host electrifying concerts all year round. Why not kick off the new year with a rockin’ show? Oh yeah, and McKinney Mayor George Fuller will hit the stage with his own guitar. 

What To Expect

The Guitar Sanctuary will present its annual New Year's Eve Concert featuring The Maylee Thomas Band, with special guests The Woodsmen. The Woodsmen will start the evening with a performance, followed by The Maylee Thomas Band. Each ticket includes a champagne toast at midnight and access to a dessert bar. Bar service will also be available (not included with tickets).

New Year’s Eve at The Comedy Arena

When: Dec. 31 | 8 p.m.

Why You Should Go

The Comedy Arena will soon present Dallas-native Aaron Aryanpur — winner of Funniest Comic in Texas — who recently made his national TV debut on FOX’s Laughs. Aryanpur was also a semifinalist in Comedy Central’s Up Next Talent Search and NBC’s Stand Up for Diversity. His album In Spite Of (released through Stand Up! Records) debuted at #7 on the iTunes Comedy Chart and quickly reached #1. 

What To Expect

Gather at The Comedy Arena and laugh your way into 2025. The evening will feature original stand-up comedy with Aaron Aryanpur, a champagne toast, party favors and an after-party to keep the celebration going all night long.

New Year’s Eve Bash at Grandscape

When: Dec. 31 | 8 p.m.

Why You Should Go

As one of the largest and most unique mixed-use developments in the country, Grandscape offers retail, entertainment, dining and attractions to kick off New Year’s Eve celebrations before the big event later in the evening. 

What To Expect

Head to Grandscape and celebrate 2025. Ringing in the New Year with a night of music, dancing and more. Don’t miss out on live DJs, Georgia Bridgwater Orchestra, New Year’s countdown and a midnight fireworks show. The open lawn area behind barricades is free on a first-come, first-served basis. Enjoy the show by bringing a blanket or lawn chair.

NYE Bash at Rock and Brews

Why You Should Go

Rock and Brews — the brainchild of KISS frontmen Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons —  is making a name for itself in Grandscape with top-notch live music, food and more. Spend your New Year’s back in time with a Y2K party of a lifetime at Rock & Brew. 

What To Expect

Dress in your early-200s best and head on to Rock & Brews for a live DJ and a great time counting down the minutes to 2025. The restaurant will offer a rockin’ menu for the night, featuring a special four-course dinner with menu classics and new additions.

Herman Marshall New Year’s Eve Party

When: Dec. 31 | 8 p.m.

Why You Should Go

Herman Marshall is an independently owned Texas distillery hand-crafting award-winning small-batch whiskey, aged in new American white oak barrels. Herman Marshall Whiskey was founded in 2010 by Master Distiller Herman Beckley and his fellow whiskey connoisseur and business partner Marshall Louis. Spend New Year’s Eve with fellow whiskey enthusiasts and ring in the new year properly. 

What To Expect

Expect an evening filled with music from North Texas-based Midnight Traveler with a house DJ. Guests can snack on finger foods, smoked meats, an extensive charcuterie board and a decadent dessert table. A countdown to midnight will be displayed on a large state-of-the-art audio/video system, accompanied by a custom cocktail in a flute to toast with.
