The Boardwalk at Granite Park recently unveiled a brand new restaurant, The Kickback, set to open on Oct. 25, 2024. Owned by the same team that brought the beloved Biscuit Bar next door, The Kickback is perfect for barbecue enthusiasts, food lovers and anyone in search of a place to relax and socialize.
The Kickback is redefining barbecue with its innovative menu concept: "Pick your protein, pick your style, pick your vehicle." Guests can indulge in a variety of protein options, including Texas-style chopped brisket, slow-smoked chicken and smash burgers. Guess can customize their dish by choosing a style, such as Cuban, hacienda or gringo, and finishing with a base like Martin’s sandwich roll, waffle fries, tortillas or rice.
In addition to the main options, The Kickback also offers appetizers, including rattlesnake tails — seasoned corn on the cob drizzled with house sauce, cilantro and queso fresco. To complement the food, guests can enjoy a full bar featuring handcrafted signature cocktails, making it the perfect venue to gather with friends for a game on the patio or a relaxing girls' night out.
To mark its grand opening, The Kickback is hosting a special event on Oct. 25. The festivities will feature live music from Texas Country Music Hall-of-Fame musicians Will and Crystal Yates during The Boardwalk’s Friday Night Market. Guests can take advantage of drink specials and enjoy a free dessert starting at 7:00 p.m.
The Kickback will welcome guests daily from 1 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and from 11 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
