Monarch To Host Exclusive Cain Vineyards Wine Dinner

Join chef Danny Grant for a six-course meal with hand-selected wines on Aug. 13, 2024

Monarch, the modern Italian restaurant led by two-time Michelin-starred chef Danny Grant, is set to offer an exclusive dining experience featuring Cain Vineyards Wine.

Cost: $350 per person

The event will take place on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2024, at Monarch's 49th-floor location in Dallas and will be attended by Chris Howell and Katie Lazar, winegrowers and co-managers of Cain Vineyards & Winery. This lavish six-course dinner, paired with eight hand-selected wines, is priced at $350 per person.

This culinary event will highlight a library of older vintages, showcasing the estate's history and its elegant, age-worthy Napa Valley cabernet blends from Spring Mountain vineyards. The wines, chosen by Monarch’s Head Sommelier Julie Braunstein in collaboration with Cain Vineyards, will be complemented by a meticulously crafted menu from Executive Chef William Salisbury and Executive Pastry Chef Mariella Bueza. The evening will commence with a champagne reception.

Course 2: Scallops Calabrese

- 2006 Cain Vineyards, “Cain Five” spring mountain, Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon blend

Course 3: Gnocchi alla Pizzaiolo

- Smoked heirloom cherry tomato sugo, pecorino

- Cain Vineyards 'MV14' Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon blend

Course 4: Branzino

- Zucchini crocchette, olives

Course 5: Rosewood Strip

- Spinaci dal focolare
