7 Things To Know About Vitruvian Lights

The annual Vitruvian Lights is set to brighten the holiday season. On Nov. 23, 2024, this magical display featuring over 1.2 million twinkling LED lights across 455 trees will kick off the holiday festivities.

1. Where It Is

Vitruvian Park is a multi-family, retail and commercial development in Addison. The light show itself will take place at the park, located at 3875 Ponte Ave.

2. When To Visit 

Beginning Nov. 23, tree lights will be on daily from 5 to 11 p.m. The event will run until Jan. 1, 2025. Guests can enjoy the free lights nightly, but the park will host special events on Nov. 23 and Nov. 30. 

3. Listen To Live Music

On Nov. 23, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., enjoy a performance by the Jordan Kahn Orchestra. Then, on Nov. 30, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the Dallas String Quartet will take the stage, offering a unique blend of contemporary electric and traditional strings.

4. Bring The Kids And Pets

The festivities offer a variety of holiday delights for all ages! Savor treats from gourmet food trucks, enjoy free photos with Santa, and meet his live reindeer. Kids can write letters to Santa with Mrs. Claus, mingle with classic holiday characters and marvel at the creative skills of an elf balloon artist.  

Vitruvian Lights is pet-friendly! All pets are welcome, but they must be properly leashed and cannot be unattended.

5. Where To Park

Parking at Vitruvian Park is free and available on-site in the Bella Lane, Park Road and Ponte Avenue parking lots, except during special events.

Special event parking on Nov. 23 and Nov. 30. 
For these dates, special event parking is $15 (cash only) and can be found at two locations:

  • Vitruvian Park – Bella Lane & Ponte Avenue parking lots
  • Alfred J. Loos Sports Complex – 3815 Spring Valley Road

Please note, event parking is not allowed at Addison Apartments at the Park, Fiori, The Villas at Fiori, Savoye, Savoye2, Vitruvian West or Brookhaven Shopping Center.

6. Bring Food And Drinks

Outside food and beverages are allowed; but, glass containers are prohibited. Food and beverages are available for purchase during special events. Feel free to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy the lights and get comfy. 

7. How To Get There

Vitruvian Park is approximately 20 minutes away from Legacy Hall. We recommend taking Dallas North Tollway for the quickest trip.
